How to get to the
SIX Convention Point
From Zurich main station (Zürich HB) take tram line 4, direction Altstetten. Coming from the station in Altstetten, take tram line 4, direction Tiefenbrunnen. From either direction get off at Sportweg. The SIX ConventionPoint is situated within the SIX building next to the tram stop.
The highway connections are a few minutes drive from the SIX ConventionPoint. There is a public pay parking at the Hard Turm Park garage, to be entered via Pfingstweidstrasse. In the garage follow the signs to building 110/SIX.
From Zurich airport to the SIX ConventionPoint it is approximately 20 minutes by Taxi. If you prefer public transport, take one of the trains to Zurich Hardbrücke. From there tram line 4 direction Altstetten takes you directly to the SIX ConventionPoint. Get off at Sportweg.
You can find 3-4 hotel next to the venue that we can recommend, i.e., Sheraton Zurich, 25hours Hotel, Novotel, and Ibis Zurich West.

Martin Grossen has over 30 years of experience with embedded and IoT systems. After successfully completing his studies, he worked as a development engineer in the industrial PC sector. With his extensive hardware and software experience, Martin transitioned to distribution and shared his knowledge as a Field Application Engineer in numerous industrial projects. He supported industrial solutions not only on the hardware side but also on the software side with Microsoft Embedded and IoT operating systems and integrated the first AI solutions very early on. In this field, he was awarded the title of “Microsoft FAE of the Year” and has maintained the status of “Microsoft IoT MVP (Most Valuable Professional)” for over 20 consecutive years to date.
Today, he oversees the industrial solutions sector at AVNET Silica as Director Solutions & Software in Europe and as a technical expert.

10+ years within IoT and wireless technologies with focus on LPWAN from over 6 years with Sigfox building up the business in the Nordics and Baltics. General Manager for the mioty Alliance since 2023.

Schekeb Fateh received the Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in 2015.
From 2009 to 2015, he was working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Q. Huang, where he was leading a group of system and design engineers to develop VLSI circuits and systems for wearable healthcare devices where his research was funded by Nano-Tera.ch and SNF.
In 2015, he started to lead the R&D of the fabless semiconductor SME ACP AG which is specialised in cellular communications chipsets in particular for the Chinese market. In 2017, he has started to work in the position of Business Bevelopment for the hardware design consulting company Miromico which is specialised on hardware design services and high-end IoT products. In 2021, he has started to work as Chief Executive Officer at Miromico.

Christoph Studer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at ETH Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland. Dr. Studer received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Between 2009 and 2013, he held postdoctoral positions at ETH Zurich and Rice University in Houston, TX, USA. In 2014, he joined Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, as an Assistant Professor. From 2019 to 2020, he was an Associate Professor at Cornell University and Cornell Tech in New York City. In 2020, he relocated to ETH Zurich. Dr. Studer has published over 180 papers, is an inventor of 10 patents, and has received numerous awards from both academia and industry. His current research focuses on technologies for future wireless communication systems and digital integrated circuit design.

Andrea Orzati is the Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Instruments AG, bringing a track record of scaling technology businesses across different industries, holding executive and board-level roles at Sensirion, and TEQABLE. A PhD graduate of ETH Zurich and holder of an EMBA from HEC Lausanne, he combines deep scientific credentials with the commercial expertise needed to lead a fast-growing, innovation-driven organisation. At Zurich Instruments, Andrea is driving the company’s next chapter of growth — expanding its ability to deliver cutting-edge quantum technology hardware, software, and services to the global scientific community.

With a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich and over five years of entrepreneurial leadership at Wuerfeli by QE, I have developed expertise in product development, strategic communication, and team management. Currently, I am leading Winduction, a project focused on wirelessly distributing renewable energy to electric vehicles on the go. This initiative reflects our commitment to advancing sustainable technology in the automotive sector.

Xiaoqiong Luo is Chief Operating Officer with deep expertise in building and optimising the operational infrastructure behind IoT and AIoT products for industrial applications. She leads cross-functional teams across production, supply, and logistics, with a particular focus on creating resilient, scalable operations that can absorb the complexity of connected hardware programmes. Bridging European industrial demands with Asian manufacturing ecosystems, Xiaoqiong brings a uniquely global operational perspective to the challenge of bringing industrial IoT devices from development through to mass production — efficiently, predictably, and sustainably.

He combines proven strategic consulting skills with deep expertise in connectivity and IoT ecosystems, helping businesses design and implement data‑driven strategies.

Alex Raimondi received the Master in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the renowned ETH in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2002. Since 2004, he has been leading the embedded design group of Miromico in order to develop advanced hardware – from high performance FPGA systems to ultra low power sensor devices. Currently, he is the director of the embedded design group at Miromico.
Since 2015, he is also co-founder and CTO of Chip-ing, a high-tech start-up creating value through the intensive use of novel technologies. Currently, Chip-ing is developing the innovative golf 3.0 products.

Markus Eberhard is CEO of ECCO2 Solutions AG, a provider of AI-based energy management systems for residential buildings. With a background in business and engineering, he has built an international career at the intersection of digital transformation, customer experience, and energy innovation. Before joining ECCO2, he held senior leadership roles at Swisscom and BKW, driving omnichannel strategies, smart energy solutions, and digital business development. Markus combines deep expertise in technology, strategy, and sustainable energy systems with hands-on leadership in scaling innovative businesses.

Geoffroy de Raulin is a French AgriTech entrepreneur and innovation leader currently at ITK, an AgriTech company designing innovative solutions for efficient and sustainable agriculture, covering more than 1 million acres of crops worldwide and more than 350,000 connected cows. He holds a degree from the University of Salford (UK) and brings both an entrepreneurial and technical background to his work in precision agriculture. Before joining ITK, he founded ALB Innovation, a company based near Saint-Étienne that developed digital and technological solutions for livestock farmers — including calving detection, heat detection and feed pusher robots for sheep, cattle and goat producers. ALB Innovation received support from TotalEnergies Développement Régional on two separate occasions, a testament to the recognized potential of its technology.
At ITK, he contributes to a platform that develops AI models applied to crop and livestock production, integrating IoT services, satellite data, weather models and soil data to deliver decision support tools for farmers, insurers and food processing companies.

He is Managing Director (CEO) of INTEC International GmbH, as well as Managing Partner (CEO) of INTEC Connectivity GmbH. Since 2019, he has been an elected member of the executive board of Bitkom, the industry association for the IT and telecommunications sector in Germany, where he represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Andreas Ludwig, 40 years old, is a qualified engineer (TH) with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Karlsruhe. From 2012 to 2016, he worked as a project manager in steel bridge construction at MCE GmbH in Linz, Austria. Since 2017, he has been employed at VAN RANDEN-LGB AG, where he serves as project manager responsible for structural analysis, design, material planning, and execution of falsework systems throughout Switzerland.

Martin Jaiser is Vice President of Business Development for Europe at Pantherun Technologies, where he is responsible for expanding business activities, strategic partnerships, and customer relationships across the European market.
He brings nearly two decades of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, and automotive technologies. Prior to joining Pantherun in 2025, he served as Senior Technical Sales Manager at ASE Group Global for seven years, focusing on customer engagement and business growth in advanced semiconductor solutions. Before that, he held field application and technical leadership roles at ams AG, Elmos Semiconductor, and Rambus, supporting customers across Europe in the development and integration of innovative electronic systems, with a strong focus on automotive applications.


Armin Hespeler is responsible for the sales of innovative data analytics and IoT solutions at it-novum GmbH. With his profound expertise in the digitalization of industrial processes, he helps the customers find optimal solutions in the IIoT space.

Stefano Marmonti supports industrial companies in manufacturing, automotive, and industry sectors in unlocking the business value hidden in their data. As a specialist in IIoT solutions, he connects machines, systems, and cloud platforms to deliver real-time insights — boosting operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and enabling faster decision-making. With his deep technical expertise, he helps organizations scale their IoT initiatives globally and turn connected data into measurable ROI.

Dejan is a product leader and serial entrepreneur with a passion for building connected, intelligent systems. As Chief Product Officer at MiNDNET, he’s currently shaping AI-driven digital health platforms that merge regulated medical-grade software with real-world patient needs.
His background spans fintech, healthtech, and emerging technologies — from launching embedded lending solutions at Banxware, to driving open banking and payment innovation at SIX and TWINT, to leading strategic initiatives in crypto-finance at Bitcoin Suisse.
Dejan lectures on disruptive business models and platform ecosystems at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and brings a system-level view to the intersection of IoT, AI, and platform strategy.

Prof. Dr. Matthias Rosenthal is a Professor in Computer Engineering at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, based at the Institute of Embedded Systems (InES) in Winterthur, Switzerland. He completed both his MSc (Dipl. El. Ing.) and his doctorate (Dr. sc. techn.) in Electrical Engineering at ETH Zürich, graduating in 1993 and 1997 respectively. His primary research focus is on High Performance Embedded Platforms, with expertise spanning heterogeneous multi-processing, FPGA, GPU, and real-time systems. He currently leads several applied research projects, including work on AI-driven atomic force microscopy, privacy-compliant occupancy sensing, and secure AI processing platforms. Rosenthal has been active in edge AI research, contributing to the European Conference on Edge AI Technologies and Applications in both 2023 and 2024. His work on FPGA-based neural network mapping and ultra-low-power embedded inference reflects a strong applied engineering focus. He has accumulated over 600 citations on Google Scholar and maintains an active publication record with recent papers in 2025. Beyond research, he teaches continuing education at ZHAW, including courses on Embedded Linux and real-time systems. He is a key member of the InES team, which comprises around 60 researchers and collaborates closely with Swiss industry partners. His institute also contributes to the EdgeAI-Trust project, making him a directly relevant figure in the Swiss edge AI and embedded systems landscape.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Breitenmoser is a Professor of Embedded Systems at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, based at the IMES Institute for Microelectronics and Embedded Systems in Rapperswil, directly on Lake Zurich. He earned his Doctor of Science (Dr. sc.) from ETH Zürich, where he studied from 2008 to 2013, and has built his academic career at the intersection of embedded hardware and intelligent autonomous systems. His core research areas cover embedded systems software and tools, edge computing, networked smart objects, robotic devices, and embedded artificial intelligence with real-time data processing. He joined IMES in 2022 and has since led and contributed to applied research projects bridging IoT hardware with robotics and machine learning.
